Information about the collection of personal data

In the following we inform you about the collection of personal data.


The person responsible pursuant to Art. 4 para. 7 EU Data Protection Ordinance (DSGVO) is "ISS Software De-velopment & IT Services, Ralf Affeldt" (see also our imprint).

 

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. As far as on our sides personal data are raised, this takes place, as far as possible, always on voluntary basis. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide your data.
 

Stored data will be deleted immediately after the purpose for which they were collected ceases to apply and unless there are any retention periods to the contrary.

If we make use of contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer and are transmitted to these data, we will inform you below in detail about the respective processes.

What is personal data?


Personal data are individual details about personal or factual circumstances with which a reference to a specific or identifiable natural person can be established, such as name, age, marital status, date of birth, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address or account number. Sometimes the IP address is already regarded as a personal date, as well as the defined criteria of the storage period.
 

Your rights


You have the following rights (Art. 12 ff. DSGVO) with regard to personal data relating to you:


- Right to information,


- Right to correction or deletion,


- Right to limitation of processing,


- Right of opposition to the processing,


- Right to data transferability.


You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.


If you have given us your consent, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.

Data security


This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests you send to us as a site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.


We also use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.


We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) may be subject to security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Transfer of data


Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those stated in this data protection declaration and for the following purposes.


We will only pass on your personal data to third parties if:


- You have given your express consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO,


- The transfer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f DSGVO to protect our legitimate interests, in particular the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims, and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not transferring your data,


- In the event that a legal obligation exists for the transfer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c DSGVO, and
this is permitted by law and is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Collection of personal data when you visit our website


Use of the website


In principle, it is not necessary for you to disclose personal data for the use of our website.


If you contact us (e.g. via e-mail or our contact form) or make use of services, we will only collect the data we need to maintain contacts, to provide our services and to execute the contract. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and b DSGVO. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide your data.


As far as we ask you for further data, it is voluntary information. The processing of personal data takes place exclusively for the fulfilment of the requested service and for the protection of our own justified business interests.


In addition, we only process data that you voluntarily provide and, if necessary, data that is automatically collected when you visit our website. We only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary for us to display our website and to guarantee its stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO):


IP address, date and time of the request, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transmitted in each case, website from which the request comes, browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software.


Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above for data collection. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.

Use of our contact form


If you have any questions, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using the form provided on the website. A valid e-mail address is required so that we know who sent the request and can respond to it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.


The data will be processed for the purpose of contacting us in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO on the basis of your voluntary consent.


The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your request has been processed.

Use of our download area


For test purposes, various software products can be downloaded in the download area. In order for the software to become usable, in some cases a license key is required, which is sent to the user by email. Therefore, a valid e-mail address must be entered in an input mask before the download can begin. Further information can be provided voluntarily.


Data processing for the purpose of downloading and using the software is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO on the basis of your voluntary consent.


The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will either be stored for the assumed duration of use of the software or until the user of the software withdraws his consent for data processing. It is assumed that the software will be used for as long as the user does not notify the responsible person to the contrary, e.g. via email or the software is generally no longer used on the market.

Cookies


In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk in the browser you use and through which certain information flows to the place that sets the cookie (here by us). Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the Internet offer more user-friendly and effective overall.


Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include in particular the session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which different requests of your browser can be assigned to the common session. This will allow your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.


Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.


You can configure your browser settings according to your wishes and refuse the acceptance of third party cookies or all cookies, for example. Please note that you may not be able to use all functions of this website.
